WHO WE ARE

Our history

Cristo Rey Vencedor Church was founded in [insert the year of foundation] by [insert the name of the founder or founders]. Since then, our church has had a significant impact on our community and on the lives of the people who attend our meetings. Our history has been characterized by a constant search for truth and a passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. From our earliest days, we have strived to be a church committed to Biblical teaching, prayer, and worship.

Over the years, we have experienced the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our community. Today, we continue to be a church that cares about the needs of people and seeks to be relevant in our society. We offer a variety of ministries and programs for all ages and stages of life, and we strive to be a church that is welcoming and open to all people, regardless of background or history. In short, our story is a story of love, service, and commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are excited about what God is doing in our church and in our community, and we hope that you too can be a part of our story.

Our beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original scriptures. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe in the moving of the Holy Spirit, prophecy and the gift of prophecy.

We believe that lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into a new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those who are saved in the resurrection of life and those who are not saved in the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our vision

Release

We want to be a church that proclaims the liberation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the gospel is the only true solution to people's deepest needs and that it is through Jesus Christ that we can find freedom from sin, guilt, fear, and oppression. Our mission is to proclaim the gospel clearly and effectively, and to help people take the necessary steps to experience the freedom that Jesus Christ offers.

Restoration

We want to be a church that helps people to be restored in their relationship with God and with others. We believe that restoration is an ongoing process in which God works in our lives to heal our wounds, strengthen us in our faith, and make us more like Jesus Christ. Our mission is to be a place where people can find love, support, understanding, and direction on their journey of restoration.

Community

We want to be a church that forms a solid community committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that community is essential to our spiritual growth and that God has called us to live in relationship with one another. Our mission is to be a welcoming, inclusive, and committed community of God's love, where people can find friends, mentors, and faith partners in their journey with Jesus Christ.
